Guilty Pleasure explores the complex relationships and personal struggles of three ambitious lawyers as they navigate their way through love, betrayal, and ambition.
Naging mas maganda yung film dahil na rin sa mga actors. Lovi is super effective sa mga ganitong role, she's classy, feisty and also shows vulnerability. Nagulat din ako sa lakas ng chemistry nila ni Jameson, it was steamy pero andun din yung kilig sa dalawa. (Napaka Ganda)
βLovi, Jameson, and JM shine with powerful performances that intertwine intense legal battles with a bold message of women's empowerment. (3.5/5)
βNever a dull moment, I even enjoyed the court scenes because the conflicts were well-established. 'Guilty Pleasure' is Lovi Poe at her best, Jameson Blake as his sexiest and JM de Guzman at his cunningest. (3.5/5)
βWhile thereβs pleasure in witnessing a story that has a lot of internal and external conflicts, it is still guilty of poor storytelling and messy editing that damage the quality of Lovi Poeβs first movie under her own production company. (1.5/5)
βAs usual, Lovi Poe looked beautiful, statuesque and smart, such great screen presence. Her wardrobe she was made to wear was proudly Filipiniana, but those butterfly sleeves and huge puffed sleeves tended to be distracting and over-the-top, very unrealistic for the courtroom setting or the law office. (6/10)
βWell-acted and slickly made, this feminist film hiding under the guise of a steamy romance drama is worth checking out. (3/5)
βGuilty Pleasure might just be my favorite film from Connie Macatuno, and if this is any indication, I'm looking forward to more from her in the future. (3/5)
