A self-centered influencer on his way to a gig finds himself babysitting a lost, loud-mouthed, 9-year-old girl who snuck into his van to find her way back home.
Unfortunately, the road to that happiness isn’t very exciting – though the film has its share of comedic parts, it lacks the comedic punchiness of Joel Ferrer’s best films. It’s carried somewhat by Smokey Manaloto’s performance, but it’s not enough. (3/5)
”All three main actors delivered. [...] Unfortunately, these performances are still not enough to save this movie from its wrecked road. (0.3/5)
”It's funny at times, thanks mainly to an affable cast. But for the most part, it's a listless film that feels very rushed. (2/5)
”While it may be about self-discovery, this movie is boring, predictable, and not believable. They failed to provide a great story and performances that would at least carry the film as they tried to make a heartfelt film for a crowd. (3.1/10)
”Somewhere along the way, the film felt like it was lost. It felt like it didn't know where it wants to go as it opened new storylines halfway through. Joel Ferrer's Road to Happy has some funny and warm moments but it wasn't enough to make you feel happy. (1.5/5)
”Road to Happy? More like Road to Boredom. (1.5/5)
”Maganda sana yung concept pero hindi ko naramdaman fully yung puso ng pelikula! The storytelling needs polishing! (1/5)
