Carlo Obispo's coming-of-age film covers familiar stories but told the sincerest way possible. Newcomers Delamide and Angeles' innocence add to the film's wholesome story while tackling important issues. An easy favorite among the entries. (4.5/5)

The way writer-director Carlo Obispo wrote and told this story of high school life and puppy love in a most childlike and entertaining manner. This was such a fun watch as it can bring back a lot of high school memories [...] (8/10)

There aren't any surprises here. It's all very schematic, the film broadly telegraphing its developments through its heavy use of tropes. But it does it fairly well, and adds the specificity of the main character being an Aeta. (3.5/5)

This feel-good romcom ends up as irresistibly cute and annoyingly charming to the core- one that will leave a smile in your face long after the credits roll. (3.5/5)

While the film has its share of non-actors, Uzziel Delamide and Potchi Angeles do a great job as our central couple, though Donna Cariaga’s supporting role as their equally lovestruck teacher and coach carries the film as well. (3.25/5)

The film is far from being outstanding with all of its inconsistencies. But the film is sweet and moving. It's meant to blend in rather than stand out. Maganda ang takbo ng storya, free and easy panoorin ang mga bida. (6/10)
