Two pals navigate booze, bar crawls, and guy drama, rediscovering friendship within 3 days and 2 nights in Poblacion.
Having the title β3 ππ’πΊπ΄ 2 ππͺπ¨π©π΅π΄ πͺπ― ππ°π£ππ’π€πͺπ°π―β, the movie is missing the Poblacion vibe and the journey of a long day and night. With the lack of growth and maturity, the idea of friendship presented in this movie tends to be superficial. (1.38/5)
βThanks to its funny script, some gorgeous visuals and the winning chemistry of Barbie Imperial and Jasmine Curtis-Smith, this chick flick ends up worth the shot. (3/5)
βEven though the film becomes hazy when the credits start rolling, its choice to stay focused on the central friendship over everything else is the north star that rewards the viewer with a tolerable watch that just happens to take place in Poblacion, Makati. (3/5)
βIt is fun and full of surprises. It makes you reminisce the joy of having friendship that will stay to you through thick and thin. (3/5)
βReduced to its essence this is basically an idiot plot where the two protagonists would resolve most of their problems if they were just frank with each other, [...]. (2.5/5)
βThanks to a few wacky shots, editing, and a short animation in the middle, but the film felt out of place. It wasn't quite as amusing as it could have been. (4.3/10)
β'3 Days, 2 Nightsβ makes Poblacion a bit dull. The problem lies in its structure: it always falls back into generic, uninspired storytelling & relies on exposition when they shouldβve let Pobla do its thing. (2/5)
β...the flow of the story is kinda messy and Poblacion life was not presented the way I'm expecting it, they were not able to tackle the lives of Pobla peeps [..]! Also the ending is kinda off and predictable! (2/5)
βAccurate insofar as there are indeed some really annoying people in Poblacion. (1/5)
βDespite the fact that the focus of the film was about a friendship between two young women, it was made by men [...]. I am not sure that they got the dynamics of this relationship correctly. (2/10)
βI swear, us, women donβt argue over boys like this. Drag queens arenβt just βpropsβ and WTH, sayang naman make up ni Jasmine, βdi man lang sya nakapag βperformβ. LOL. Also anoβng ginawa niyo kay Jasmine? First time ko siyang napanood na shwangit. Huy! (1/5)
βIt immediately goes for the jugular in annoying its audience. It starts off, in medias res, with our main characters fighting (via fliptop, cringe) instead of being friends as the poster happily indicates... (1/5)
βThis film has overstayed its welcome. Banter and heightened conversations are just empty noise without having a solid foundation of their dynamics as friends. (1/5)
βWhile the premise and location of "3 Days 2 Nights in Poblacion" are promising, the execution is severely lacking. The most glaring issue is the lack of a coherent timeline. Despite the title, it feels as if everything happens in one night, and the events do not tie together logically. (0.5/5)
